Midleton Men’s Shed is a community-based, non-commercial organisation which is open to all men from Midleton and areas. The primary activity of the 'shed' is the provision of a safe, friendly and inclusive environment where the men can gather to chat and/or work on meaningful projects at their own pace, in their own time and in the company of other men, and where the primary objective is to advance the health and well-being of the participating men. It is also a place to chat, have a cuppa, play a game of cards, or just relax and enjoy the company of like-minded men from the locality. Men’s sheds may look like a shed in your back yard yet they innovatively share some characteristics of both community education and health promotion projects.

We guarantee that before you know it you’ll be standing up on your board and riding a wave, wondering why you never did this before.
The school is run by a group of close friends who first met on the waves back in 2002 and through their love of surfing Swell Surf School was born in 2009.
At Swell we are dedicated to providing the most fun and safe environment for everyone to learn to surf. Surfing can be for everyone so we try our very best to offer a variety of ways to learn the sport to suit everyone.
Play and Bloom is a private play therapy service based in Midleton, East Cork, Ireland.
We work using a child-centered and non-directive approach to play therapy.
Play and Bloom provides both individual and group play therapy sessions for children aged between 4-12 years of age.
We value the involvement of parents in the therapeutic process and we believe all children have an innate ability to heal from within and bloom again.
